Quick-change applicator for crimping terminals in Schaefer crimp machines. If designed accordingly they can also be used with Schaefer stripping modules. This type of applicator bends terminals to the desired geometry before or during the crimping process.

The advantage of this process is it allows a reel of unbent terminals, which generally contain many more terminals on one reel, to be used; thus minimizing downtimes due to frequent reel replacements. Unbent terminals also take up less storage capacity.

This applicator is designed with an indexed rotary head for reproducible, independent crimp height adjustment of both the wire and insulation.
