Semiautomatic Crimp WorkstationProcessing of two conductor cables
Description
This system is a semiautomatic housing insert workstation. The operator simply loads the unit with prepared wires. The rest of the processing is performed automatically.
The work steps procedures are: trim cut and stripping the wires, crimping a contact to the stripped ends, positioning the housing, gripping the wires and transporting them to the intermediate position before further processing.
The stripper integrated color detector makes sure that the wire cores are in the correct position. The crimp machine is equipped with a double crimping tool, consisting of a split anvil and one crimping control for each wire. The feeding unit ensures that housings are positioned correctly. The crimped contacts are then placed firmly in the housing.

The semi automatic machine is being used in the wire harness industry for automobiles.
