Description
The crimping press EPS 2020 is designed for crimping terminals utilizing quick change tooling also used in fully automatic systems like the new Megomat 1000. Its compact design, with a width of only 170 mm and an angled frame, make it ideal to be used on fully automatic machines.
The press motor is driven with an integrated frequency converter and controlled by the software from the wire processing machine.
Just like the bench top presses the EPS 2020 is also equipped with the popular hand wheel for manual setting of the applicators.
Range of Application
Schaefer crimp machines are used in the series production of the cable processing industry.

Eccentric presses are designed to connect wires and terminals in multiple applications.
Product Combination Possibilities
The new BB07s crimp force monitoring system, which was especially developed for fully automatic systems, can also be used on the EPS 2020 press.
In addition, the new optional crimp height adjustment has a setting range of 1 mm. The bottom dead center position of the ram can be adjusted without sacrificing the dynamic pass through of the of the bottom dead center during the crimping cycle.
The EPS 2020 press is compatible with the Schaefer Shuttle System.
