Description
The EPS 2002-based crimping system has been developed for crimping an HF punch-bend contact onto the outer sheathing of an HF wire.
The paper take-up reel and a slack control ensure tension-free contact feed. The wire, with an already crimped inner conductor, is insert manually into the outer contact, which is positioned for crimping. When the inner conductor reaches its nominal position the tool integrated measuring unit triggers the crimping process. An integrated measurement of the backset assures a 100 % placement control.
