The customized crimp work table consist of a sliding table which is mounted perpendicular and next to the crimping press EPS 2003. The sliding table can be equipped with multiple combinations of applicators and the appropriate terminal reels. The user can now simply select the preset applicator and slide it into the crimping press. A total of five side feed and one rear feed applicator can be installed on the sliding table. The identification of the tooling is provided by the RFID technology.

The setup time of the tooling and down time at the work station can be drastically reduced with this method.

Mistakes such as crimping a terminal with the wrong applicator can thus be minimized.
